When I was growing up, one of my favorite after school snacks was peanut butter and apples. It gave me just the right amount of sweetness and the peanut butter easily satisfied my hungry tummy after a long day at school. My Apple Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Popsicles are reminiscent of that snack that I loved so much (and still do). With the added protein from the Greek yogurt, these popsicles will not only be a hit with your family but are a healthy, nutrition, protein-packed treat. They’re also a great way to cool off during those hot days of summer. I hope you’ll give them a try!
A few years ago I found these fun popsicle molds and extra bonus, they were on sale! I like that they have a straw on them because as the popsicle melts, it catches the drips and then it makes it easier to enjoy that goodness in your mouth instead of all down your arm! Apple, Peanut Butter and Cinnamon Popsicles
- 2 cups apples sliced and peeled (or leave the peels if you prefer. Fuji or Gala apples are good
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¾ cup almond milk
- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon if you prefer less cinnamon, just use 1/4 teaspoon
- Add all ingredients to blender container and blend until smooth. Pour into popsicles molds and freeze until solid. Enjoy!
