Notes
Ingredient Tips:Substitute the ground beef for Italian ground sausage or Italian ground turkey for a different flavor twist.Start with pre-prepped ingredients to save you time like sliced mushrooms, washed baby spinach, and pre-shredded cheese. Look for frozen diced onions and green bell peppers in the freezer section of the grocery store to save time (and often money) too! Make Ahead Tips:Cook the pasta up to a day in advance and store in the refrigerator until ready to assemble. The same can be done with the meat mixture but leave out the fresh spinach and shredded cheese until you are cooking it all just before serving. You can even freeze the meat mixture up to three months in advance to thaw and use when you're ready to assemble the recipe. Don't forget to date and label it! (affiliate link)
