Happy Halloween! Halloween is one of our favorite holidays! It’s so fun decorating and dressing up. We have some food traditions with this holiday too that we’ll be enjoying later today.

Be sure to comment on the post to let me know what you thought! Also, last week I hosted my first every Skype meal planning workshop for a mom’s group in New York state. I’ve hosted meal planning workshops locally before but this was my first time doing it remotely. I was a little nervous for a technology fail but it went off without a hitch and was lots of fun! I’ve also been doing a few more stories on Instagram which are super fun too. If you’re not following me on Instagram yet, you can find me here. What new things have you tried recently?
Now on the Weekly Menu Plan! Here’s what’s on our dinner menu for this week:
Monday: Slowcooker All-American Chili plus Mummy Hot Dogs plus Easy Chocolate Cat Face Cookies
Tuesday: Quick and Easy Crunchy Oven Fried Fish plus garden salad or roasted broccoli (depends on what we’re in the mood for) plus a wild rice pilaf
Wednesday: Turkey Pot Pie (trying a new recipe–will appear on the blog in a couple of weeks!)
Thursday: Slowcooker Turkey Chili Mac (trying a new recipe) plus garden salad
Saturday: special activity–out to eat!
Sunday: TBA–not totally sure yet!

After the start of the new year, I’ll be transitioning this Weekly Menu Plan and similar content into a new newsletter I’m starting called Monday Magic. There are lots of reasons but you’ll still be able receive weekly recipe ideas and inspiration–it will just be in a different format! I’m thinking about doing a monthly menu plan post on my blog instead so that you’ll be able to access the same recipe ideas and inspiration on my website but I’ll be able to more regularly share additional content like new recipes or time and money saving tips on my website.
