That’s where eMeals can help! Say goodbye to the stress of having to decide what’s for dinner or making another trip through the drive-thru. You’ll save time and money—plus eat healthier—when the week’s meals are planned ahead and all the ingredients you need are combined into one, easy-to-use shopping list.
What’s great about eMeals is that when you subscribe, you can choose from over 50 meal plan options! That’s a whole lot of choices! Choose from plans like Clean Eating, Paleo, Low Carb, Heart Healthy, Portion Control, Slow Cooker, Budget Friendly, Kid Friendly, Diabetic, Vegetarian, Gluten Free are just a few of the plans you can choose from. They also have lunch, breakfast and dessert plans (I personally liked the breakfast plan as that is a big challenge in our house!)
What’s also great is that you can choose from any of those plans for different size families. Their Family Menu makes 3-6 servings but they also have a For 2 Menu which is great for singles or couples.
When you’ve got a plan, it’s a lot easier to get the whole family involved preparing dinner, too! Cooking with kids is a great way for them to learn about the ingredients, healthy food and measurements an also feel a sense of pride when they enjoy a meal they know they helped create!
It’s easy to get started:
Pick Your Plan – As I mentioned above, there are over 50 different plan options to choose from. And it’s easy to switch your plan each week whenever you’re ready to try something new. Just log in to your account, click on the My Meal Plans tab at the top and you will see your current subscriptions and be able to change it up there.
Get The Recipes – every week, your meal plan is emailed right to your inbox and includes seven simple dinner recipes –each with an entrée and a side dish!
Shop and Save – Along with the meal plan, you’ll receive a shopping list that you can download and print to take with you to the grocery store. When you choose the Classic plan you can choose from a variety of grocery stores like ALDI, Costco, Safeway, Whole Foods, Publix, Walmart or select Kroger stores. The weekly menu plan will match up with what’s on sale that week so you can take advantage of extra cost savings. If you choose any of the other plans, that’s ok! It will work for any grocery store. While it won’t match up with weekly sales necessarily in that case, the menu does try to take advantage of using up ingredients all in one week. For example, if a dish calls for pasta, it might appear as a main dish and a side dish in the same week so you can maximize savings on grocery purchases.
Cook and Enjoy! With the meal planning done for you and the grocery list and budgeting taken care of, all you need to do is follow the recipes and create healthy, home-cooked meals for your family! Think of all the money you can save by not eating out as much AND you’ll feel good knowing that you’re making meals that are right for your family’s dietary requests.
For as low as $5/month it takes a lot of the stress of meal planning and you can feel good knowing that you’re still making homemade meals that your family will love! Plus, they offer a 14 day free trial so you can be sure it’s something you want to do (and you can choose from several payment plans including quarterly, six-months or 12-month plans (which is the best deal).
I realize there are a lot of meal planning services to choose from and as you know, I believe there is no one right way to meal plan for everyone. That’s why I’m happy to share with you what I know so that you can decide what’s right for your family! If you want to give eMeals a try, just click here to get started with your free trial!
