Guest Post and Halloween treat fun

I’m guest posting today over at Raise Healthy Eaters. There, I answer 6 Questions That Will Transform Your Meal Planning. Be sure to check it out!

This week we also made one of our favorite Halloween cookie treats! Chocolate Cat Cookies are something I have been making since I was a little girl. My mom found the recipe in the newspaper and I’ve been making it all these years. We’ve modified it a bit since then but generally it’s about the same. My daughter made them for a contest at school and the recipe link is also from a contest I entered and won a prize! Woohoo! They are super quick and easy to make. I hope you like them too!

We made these cookies on Saturday after seeing them on your blog and they were SO easy, SO cute, and SO super tasty. My 3 year old had such fun putting on the eyes & noses (we used orange Reese's Pieces) and it was not as hard as I expected for a non-crafty mommy to figure out how to pinch the ears on the cookies to make them look right … thanks for sharing!

@geekmommy, I'm so glad to hear that you all made these and that you enjoyed them too! I've been making them with my kids, too, practically since they started walking.
