I didn’t get a full meal plan written up this week because we’ll be visiting with family for the holiday weekend and I’m not really sure what I’ll be making (I usually just bring some sort of side or dessert). But here are a few of the things that were on our menu this week:
Simple Fish Tacos (recipe to come)
Maple Garlic Pork Tenderloin with wild rice pilaf and garden salad
Chili (from freezer meal exchange), mini-cornbread muffins, garden salad
Homemade spaghetti sauce with whole grain pasta, garden salad
Now, Easter is right around the corner. Whether you’re celebrating or not, I’ve collected some fun ideas for any spring gathering you’re having this season. Who says bunnies are only for Easter?
All-Natural Egg Dye Recipes–these are definitely on my to try list sometime this year! Of course I want to know if I can freeze the dyes after they are made for future use–will keep you posted!
Deviled Egg Chicks–what a fun twist on the traditional deviled eggs!
Easter Bunny Bread with veggies and dip–what a great addition to your holiday snack table!
Chocolate Cheesecake Eggs. Ok, no explanation necessary except for YUM!
How about this cute loaf of bunny bread for your holiday table? So cute and simple too!
Spring Carrot Pots with Hummus dip–the kids won’t be able to resist!
I think the one thing I love best about Easter is the Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs but this homemade version looks so much better! Definitely going to give these a try!
All foods bunny shaped here–tons of great ideas!
I hope this gives you a little inspiration for a fun holiday!
