We use CFL's, our electricity is 100% wind generated and I use reusable shopping bags as often as I can. Sometimes I get an eye roll for using it in a department store, but oh well! Oh, and we recycle just about everything. My girls take their lunch to school for budget reasons, and I'm always looking for reusable containers to put their stuff in! These nifty little bags would help to solve my plastic zipper bag predicament! We went to 'toddler snack cups' as soon as I found them a few years ago. I always know which snack belongs to whom, and it minimizes spills. Also, easy clean up to throw in the DW at night and have them ready for the next morning. My oldest loves the cup, but the youngest just pops the lid open - spreading snacks everywhere in the process! These bags just might end my search for a solution for the 'toddler'. In such a "disposable" society, there is a need like this. And in an on the go lifestyle, these would help alot. I bought the kids insulated lunch boxes and plastic containers to carry their lunches to school. Plastic and paper bags are such a waste of money. These cute little snack bags would be great for lunch boxes and for carrying snacks with us on the go! I started in September to stop using zippy bags. We've been using tupperwear in leiu of the bags. These are a GREAT ulternative.
