Although I have heard that roasted Brussels sprouts are much tastier than any kind, I am still working up enough nerve to make them. Some childhood traumas are hard to overcome ;-)

Thanks for hosting this party. I think it is a great idea. Glad to see that you highlighted Brussels Sprouts. I like them (Hubby, too, although he won't eat cooked cabbage or cauliflower). and roasting is a great way to fix them. I just wish that they were not so expensive here.

I recently tried roasted brussels sprouts and they were a hit here as well. I cut mine in half before roasting, and I think that may have helped. My oldest liked the ones that were really crispy, so I'm going to try to capitalize on that in the future. ;)

Thank you SO MUCH for hosting this--I think I'm really going to find this a great opportunity to discover new ways to prepare fruits and veggies for my family. And you're right--roasting veggies generally does seem the way to go in enticing kids (and husband, in my case) to eat ones they wouldn't ordinarily try. These brussel sprouts look great!

Wow what a fun idea. My daughter will love this! We'll have to try to fit in A and B this month :) and Bacon really IS the key for brussel sprouts. I'm sure you'll find plenty of inspiration on pinterest. This is one of my favorite recipes for brussel sprouts though... the vinegar gives it an amazing zip! http://www.melecotte.com/2010/10/roasted-balsamic-onions-and-brussel-sprouts/ Good luck and I look forward to seeing what you do with the rest of the alphabet!
