Remember last week when I had my reality check about real food and talked about how we can’t always make everything 100% from scratch (but we can come close)?
Well, I’m excited to tell you that I’m working with HEB and ConAgra and their Back-To-School Meal Maker Challenge to develop quick and easy meal time solutions to help you get dinner to the table more easily!
I know that many times getting back to a new routine can be bumpy so keeping dinner simple makes life a whole lot easier. I’ll be joined by nine other bloggers for four weeks who will each share a recipe using a featured ingredient, use seven ingredients or less and can be prepared in under 30 minutes to feed a family of four.
Starting next Wednesday, August 8th (and the three following Wednesdays), I’ll be sharing my recipe with you all. Each meal will be featured on the HEB Facebook page and fans (that’s where you come in!) will have a chance to vote for their favorite meal. The top two bloggers who receive the most votes will go head-to-head at a local HEB to see who comes out the winner!
I have to tell you, it has been more challenging than I thought to develop recipes with those restrictions—but it has also been a lot of fun and I have found some new favorites for my family too!
To help get you all in on the action, HEB and ConAgra have provided three prize pack, valued at $50 each, for me to giveaway here on my blog! Next week will kick off the challenge and share the giveaway details with you all.
I hope you’ll follow along, discover some new recipes–oh, and vote for me too!
