Taste Of Home’s Everyday Light Meals {Cookbook Review}

I have always loved the magazines and recipes from Taste Of Home. But when I discovered this cookbook I realized what a gem I had in my hands. The first half of this book includes 93 menus for meals…that is the main dish and a side dish, dessert or salad. Each recipe also includes a section called “Appealing Partners” that includes suggestions for other sides don’t really require a recipe…things like Mixed Green Salad, rice, cut-up fruit, etc. The “Practical Tips” includes tips for customizing the dish to your family’s tastes or substitutions you can make for ingredients you may not have on hand.

The last half of the book includes more than 300 additional recipes for when your ready to branch out and customize your menus for any occasion. This book is definitely worth your time to take a look!
